Bounce back week for the market brought back some animal spirits to energy stocks, and midstream stocks were among the leaders across the market this week. With yield-focused Canadian investors pushing up Canadian stocks, the broader AMNA index outperformed MLPs, but Cheniere’s big week and KMI strength helped AMUS keep pace too. Oppressive heat and stagnant natural gas production had natural gas prices above $8.00/mmbtu again in the front month, as the setup for winter gets tighter and tighter.
